This is a newly renovated 3 bedroom plus 1 1/2 bathroom 4 season log cabin, fully furnished which sleeps 6 comfortably. The perfect cabin for leaving your cell phone and stress home and relaxing with all the beauty the Adirondacks has to offer. Escape from those hot city nights and your air conditioning to cool country nights filled with lake breezes, sleeping under a cozy quilt. The cabin is nestled in the foot hills of the SW Adirondack Mountains in Salisbury, NY. It sits on quiet wild Spruce lake, a pristine non-motorized lake 3 feet from the back porch. It's a convenient 4 hour drive from midtown NYC, a 4 hour drive from Buffalo, and a 3 1/2 drive from Boston, a 1 1/2 hour drive from Syracuse and a 1 hour drive from Albany.
The cabin sits on 1 acre with the lake as the back yard and forest as its other border. The property and area abounds with hiking trails for wildlife watching that includes deer, bear, partridge, moose, geese, mallards, loons, bald eagles, hawks, owls and more. Large mouth, small mouth bass, lake trout, pickerel, cat fish and perch fishing are in the lake outside the door. Trout stocked streams are but a short drive from the camp for the fly fishing enthusiast. Noise level is mostly from the loons, geese and bull frogs. The camp is a 1 hour drive to Saratoga Race Track, SPAC and Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.
Spruce Lake cabin includes the following: 3 Bedrooms and 1 1/2 full bathrooms all done and decorated in Adirondack style with maximum comfort in mind. The environment provides all the rugged rustic lifestyle of the wild Adirondacks with the convenience and pleasure of living in a home with every need accounted for.
The first floor has a master bedroom with 1/2 bathroom, queen size bed and flat screen TV. The 2nd floor bedroom has a queen size bed. The 3rd bedroom which is also the 4 season sun room has has a twin bed with a pull out trundle. Also located on the first floor is 1 full bathroom with tub/shower and a mud room with washer and dryer. The great room with fireplace and 18' ceilings that leads to the sun porch and lake. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and more... Dining with seating for 6. 2 TV's with satellite and DVD player. Open deck at lakeside for reading, relaxing and watching the children swim. An anchored floating dock 20 feet from the shore for sunbathing and relaxing. A dock for fishing, swimming, boating or just reading a book. Another dock for fishing, reading and boat launching. A fire pit for s'mores and all those camp fire stories you been saving up all year! 2 canoes and row boat included with rental.
